Let me know costs. As for payment, easiest is for you to put it up on ebay. I don't do the payment systems- they want an account. If not available, I can cut a check or send postal money order.

By the way, nice 10EE, looks like fairly late model.

How much you willing to pay? Make me an offer (with shipping) I can't refuse! I take personal checks.
Hi Cmike. I read your post from about 10-11 years ago about possibly having a manual for a Cincinnati Countour Master Mill. I am wondering if you still have that and if I might purchase a copy from you? I am really struggling to find one. Let me know,

Thanks,

New feed motor - what type did you used?
Are you happy with rebuild? Do you have enough power etc?
Did you consider any modern DC regulators with old motors?
(Im garage hobby machinist, so I will not make any production on it, I do not really need any high power milling machine)
Best regards
Marek
Hi Farrismek,
I'm Marek, from Czech Republic
I bought FUW 250/iv just as you. Can you kindly answer some questions:
Old spindle motor - was it easy for you to remove old one? I cannot pull it out of gearbox.
New spindle motor - I read you have 5,5 kW - 3000 or 1500 RPM?
Frequency converters - you use in Vector mode, or do you have vector + encoder as well?
Now I'm trying to get a good post processor and am dialing it in with the MasterCam people. I don't see any info on it here or anyone that is used to programming the MX2 and was going to start a thread but wanted to check with you first.

Good Morning JD, I have no knowledge of off line gramming, sorry, I did all mine standing at the control.
I do wish you well, again, sorry I could not help.

Do you still have it? I was able to post code today and finally run some parts !!! So satisfying to see it cut so accurately after all the work it took to get to this point.
I definitely want to get a newer machine but seriously have a soft spot for this beast

Good morning again JD,
Yes I still Have this Machine, It is in very good shape, I am retired now, I tried to sell it on FB, nobody came to see it.
I start it and run it thru my home made warm up program.

I felt/feel blessed to have owned it, it changed my life money wise,I will be forever grateful about it.
But now I need it gone.
Good luck,I wish you well.

Hi Greg, I have a MC500V with MX2 control that is in pretty good condition. Trying to get a post processor dialed in and I dont see any info on this. I had a problem with the RS232 port as I see quite a few are as well but I was able to use a Cimco V6 to go through the tape reader port.
Hello, I purchased the same machine. Pretty much the same condition, and am just turning it on. Your posts remind me of how I feel in getting this machine going.

. I homed the machine, cleaned up all the tools and set my G54 offset but am having some questions about the Z offset. I purchased the Mastercam educational version as the MC post processor was originally sold with the machine but the MC people are having questions about the Z offset as well.

Are you using the 6518 etc to set z or just the H (D) ? Still figuring out the Measurement buttons as well.

I have about 20 programs in the control and am looking them over carefully but it looks like the old programmer was a Fanuc guy and its confusing the MC people.

Anyway, I found a way to go through the tapereader port (cimco V6) as my rs232 was fried and I can use the computer to store large programs

If you want to chat or facetime the startup let me know. I have the MC people meeting online with me tomorrow and hope to get past the safety line lol .

Thanks and have a great day
Hello Mike,I saw you are looking for CNC milling machines.May I ask if you are considering other brands? Perhaps I can give you some advice.
Hi there friend machinist . I saw a post here that you write about macro for mazak . I am new with mazak control . Do you use macro program to zero point the item? can you share any information (or programs) with me? thanks for your time
:)
Sheldon Lathe is available to new owner without cost who is able to disassemble, remove and hoist from basement in Brooklyn, New York City, New York USA. The lathe is functional. Call or text 347-254-2928.
I originally wrote more but the computer made me shorten it... Im confused with all the oils for the 10ee... Could I ask a few questions? Thank you
Hello Sir,

Oil: My thought is, you don't get if you don't ask. Would you be interested in answering a few questions about the specifics so I dont mess up anything... I just want the best for the machine. I have an engineering back ground and extremely mechanical.... With a little guidance I can take off.... If you like, I can share phone, email, Etc.... Thank you - Jaxon
Hello Peter,
I am building my first RPC. I started from a pony motor design with no run or pf caps and converted it to a potential relay self starter. Though it is 7.5 hp, I am not having any trouble starting it because of the low current draw of the repulsion start motor. Would you mind taking a look at the attached balancing results and tell me what I might try next. The last line is the current configuration.

Hey. I've read some posts of yours in the past about there being a Slack group for Topsolid users. Is that group still active, and would you be able to add me to it? I've been using Top for about 6 years now programming a handful of 3 axis mills and a DMU50 doing primarily mold and die components. Awesome software, always finding new and better ways to do things with it. Thanks
Hi Olav. My name is William and I have purchased a similar machine to yours. Did you manage to find a manual on the machine or perhaps you can help me? I need to know what voltage the electric clutches in the feed gearbox run at. The wiring in my machine had been stripped out.
Would appreciate any assistance.
